
Hall of Fame player and NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp was arrested Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute as well as assault, which was first reported by TMZ.com . The incident occured at a hotel in Phoenix, where Sapp was covering Super Bowl XLIX, and occured around 7 a.m. local time. “We were contacted by the Phoenix Police Dept. today in a matter involving a guest,” a hotel representative told TMZ. “We are cooperating with police as they look into the situation since it is an active investigation. We have no further comment. Sapp was charged for domestic battery in 2010, although it was eventually dropped. He was also arrested for domestic battery in 2014 in Miami. He has reportedly been suspended indefinitely by the NFL Network .
